Use it over any colour for a slight shimmer, or on its own for full on metallic. Tapestry, Algonquin and Chateau are great base coats underneath Vintage Gold.
If you require additional protection use Fusion's Gloss Tough Coat on top, this will give a smooth high gloss finish. Please note that putting any flat or matte topcoat on top of a metallic will eliminate the metallic sheen so isn't a good idea.
