Storm is a mid-tone, complex hue leading with grey, carrying a heavy lavender undertone to its blue complexion. This nuanced shade evokes a sense of atmospheric depth and quiet contemplation, reminiscent of a sky heavy with rain.
Just look at the subtleties in this colour, it's beautiful all on its own! To me though this shade is calling out for a white glaze or some liming wax... imagine the coastal textures you can create? I'm itching to mix in some fresco texturised powder or even some Milk Paint powder to create a really craggy sea spray patina.

TOPCOATS
The chalky finish is durable, however it's nature makes it porous. If you're looking for a totally flat finish just apply and leave as it is, just note it will absorb grease from fingerprints etc. For additional wipeability seal with one of our Coloured Furniture Waxes, Fragranced Waxes, Beeswax, Hemp Oil, stain and finishing oils or Tough Coats. Applying the sealing coat is super easy and fun! Plus it gives you complete control over the final sheen of your project.
Choosing pigmented topcoats are an excellent way to get even more creative and acheive depth and layering with this stunning paint. I love coloured waxes and our Stain and Finishing Oils!
APPLICATION
Using one of our natural bristled brushes is a great way to create texture. Alternatively select a synthetic bristles brush like one from our ClingOn range for a smoother finish.
